They have placed floodlights on the back nine to light up the course at night time, maybe because they know the round is going to take you so long you're going to finish in the dark, but trying to play golf in the dark is a futile exercise. Is the only way to describe the heavily sanded greens (which are under repair), they were almost unplayable in my opinion, very frustrating.
In very good condition with the greens and fairways no complaints.
I like Emearld lakes and play there very 3 months or so, but last Friday afternoon was not the most enjoyable round of golf I have had and definitely the worst I have had at the club.
The pro shop warned that the course was very busy and this turned out to 110% true.
Tee times seemed too close together and we waited on nearly every hole.
Would be good to get some sustenance on the course, Halfway house was closed to food, drink and toilet facilities.
The greens were rock hard and very fast so it was impossible to get an approach shot anyway near the pin, for anybody let alone part time golfers.
